Worship Music Leader - 9:30 a.m. Service
Rosalie Porter
began her liturgical career as a child singing with 3 of her 7 siblings back in
Indiana at St Mary's Catholic Church where her mother was the organist. She and
her husband and two daughters have been in Temecula since 2002 and she began
serving as the Contemporary Worship Leader in the fall of 2003. Prior to coming
to Temecula, she was a member of a choir in Lakewood where she served
as cantor for three years after training with composer Christopher Walker. She
has worked with other liturgical composers over the years at the Los Angeles
Diocese Religious Education Congress held each spring at the Anaheim Convention
Center. She soloed at the morning liturgy and most recently sang backup at an
evening concert with noted female Christian artists. She has found it very
rewarding spiritually to be part of the growing community of St Thomas.
